The intent is to spend time together without phones
There will be no mechanism to charge all the phones
Ma’s and Pa’s will have phones for picture capture
There will be a trek photographer

Much of the clothing for trek can be obtained at thrift stores.

Young women
1-3 skirts or dresses; 3/4 length/mid-calf length
1-3 long sleeve blouses; button front with collars removed; light colors; (shirts are only required if skirts are worn, not for dresses)
1-2 aprons; deep pockets for carrying small items
1 hat; pioneer style or broad brim sun hat with under chin ties
1-3 bloomers; cotton; (lycra and spandex leggings are very hot) ankle length with elastic around ankle. These will help protect against chaffing and insect bites; Scrubs can easily be made into suitable bloomers
4 pairs socks; cotton or wool outer; knee high nylon liners are also recommended
1-2 pairs shoes; sturdy; well broken in
1-3 bandanas; cotton; lightweight; prewashed
Young Men
1-3 pants; lightweight cotton to prevent chaffing; no denim or heavyweight material; no camouflage
1-3 shirts; lightweight; long sleeves; button front; light color; no t-shirts
1 hat; western style, straw, or sun hat; broad brim; no baseball caps
4 pairs socks; cotton or wool outer; nylon liners are recommended
1-2 pairs shoes; sturdy; well broken in;
